Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country which is known for its rich culture, stunning natural landscapes, delicious cuisine, and historical landmarks.

The best season to visit Vietnam is spring and autumn. Although Vietnam is a developing country we can still see a lot of places to visit in Vietnam. While visiting those beautiful places we can try some street foods that are famous in Vietnam. Some famous and delicious street foods in Vietnam are mentioned below:

 

  1. Rice Noodle Soup  

Rice Noodle Soup is one of the most famous street foods in Vietnam. When it comes to street food most of the people choose to try Rice Noodle Soup.

Rice Noodle Soup is also sometimes known as Pho in Vietnamese language. Rice Noodle Soup is made up of chewy rice noodles in piping hot savory broth along with tender slices of beef or chicken and topped with crunchy, spicy, herby garnishes.

It takes 25 to 30 minutes to prepare this delicious street food in Vietnam. Among many Vietnamese soups, Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup or Pho is one of the most famous and widely recognized versions. Rice Noodle Soup has become the culinary essence of the nation.

 

  2. Vietnamese Sandwich  

Vietnamese Sandwich is another one of the most famous and popular street foods in Vietnam after Rice Noodle Soup.

Vietnamese Sandwich is also sometimes known as Banh Mi in Vietnamese language. This delicious street food is made and packed with pickled vegetables, coriander, fresh chili, cuts of pork meat, and at last smeared with pate.

They also add some other toppings which include chicken, egg, meatballs, and so on.

This delicious street food is prepared with strips of rice paper, and variations of dried protein which includes beef jerky, squid, shrimp, tart green mango, fresh mint, sweet basil, and lastly its signature spicy, sweet, and sour dressing.

Vietnamese Sweet Dessert is another one of the most famous street foods in Vietnam. Vietnamese Sweet Dessert is also known as Che in Vietnamese language.

The most popular Vietnamese dessert is Mung Bean Cake which is also known as Banh Dau Xanh in Vietnamese language.

Hoi An Noodles is another one of the most famous street foods in Vietnam which has a mysterious history in comparison to other foods. Hoi An Noodles is also known as Cao Lau in Vietnamese language.

Spring Rolls is another one of the most famous street foods in Vietnam. Spring Rolls also known as Cha Gio is Vietnamese language.

The best way to eat Spring Rolls is to eat them with dipping sauce. Spring Rolls are also sometimes known as Summer Rolls.
